Spurs won this division with a game to spare having lost just one in 19 before tonight. Having partied hard they then play Palace and lose 5-nil, cementing Palace's place in the Top 12. It's not the Southampton fix but it's in the same ballpark.

I wonder if, in this day and age a group of U21s will be permitted to “party hard” given their individual careers are at stake and winning the U21 league is pretty meaningless.

Nonetheless I expect they just fielded a weakened team of U16s
