Interesting read in the Argus today about how RDZ has total faith in how we play and that it’s basically a very steep learning curve at the moment, which will bear fruit next season. He does keep saying “we” but he also seems to regularly add the “with or without me” next season to his interviews these days. Odd and totally unnecessary imo, can’t help feeling that he would like to leave for a club better able/willing to fund his type of players.
So basically RDZ can only succeed where moneys no object? No wonder he’s so chummy with Pep!

Sadly other than a couple of outliers like us last season, final PL places won’t be too far off the money table.

With the players we’ve had available this season, and the amount of minutes the fit ones have had to play - we’ve done well to still be fighting in mid table.

Don’t disagree and I’m relatively comfortable with mid table finish, especially with the injuries. A bit concerned Palace might now catch us because I really can’t see us getting another point this season!

He'd be the first player I've ever known to do such a thing. 'Sorry, old thing. I slipped. Don't give the free kick. It gives us an unfair advantage' :ROFLMAO:
I remember Robbie Fowler insisting to a ref that he wasn’t fouled after being given a penalty. The ref didn’t listen, and Fowler passed the ball to the keeper When taking the pen. Great sportsmanship.

I don’t like this thread title either. After all that RDZ has done for us, after all he has achieved - you tell him to F- off!
That is disgusting. Just because you cant have another season in Europe after all.. Oh dear.. diddums then !

Not quite true. He did insist it wasn't a pen, but still took it and there's no way it was a "pass".

But you can make your own mind up:

There’s lots of clutching at straws on this thread. Let’s not kid ourselves, the Foden slip does not excuse what was a very poor showing.

And if we are thinking that having a fit March, Mitoma, Lampty etc would have made a difference, then I’d suggest you watch the game again and look at how we set up in the first half and invited City to score.

The second half, we kept them at bay a bit more and went a little more direct, but by that time City had nothing to play for. The game was won!

Now we either back De Zerbi with better players who can play his brand of football without fear, or he/we change tact, because this isn’t about one game. It’s been building for months and if we don’t change something then we will be relegated next year.

I don't like this thread.
I don't like that it was written in capitals and is very prominent on what is the fans biggest messageboard.
To me it feels like clickbait and is undermining what the club are achieving overall.
It feels like a comment from a wolf in sheep's clothing.
I wasn't at the game, but a friend who was in the North Stand heard this shouted from just behind him.

I find it utterly remarkable that anyone can think that, and get so irate as to bellow it out too.

Incredible entitlement from whoever did it, considering how much worse yesterday’s starting side was than last season.

This European season should be an eye opener club wide, including RDZ.
He was behind me.

I can’t believe I’m saying this, but a part of me agrees with him.

The best coach we've ever had. The best coach we will ever likely have.

I feel some people will only realise it when he's gone.
Not a chance. Defensively he’s so poor and can’t seem to fix it. Blame injuries but except Pervis (who hasn’t been right since we rushed him back from injury against Ajax) we’ve not really struggled for injuries in defence - and people are telling me Dunk should be going to the Euros and JPVH is player of the season - yet we are regularly conceding 3 , 4 goals.

That’s not a brilliant coach IMHO

Wrong.

@Bozza is a wolf in wolf’s clothing.

Memory fades with time. But the sentiment is the same, there ARE players that show a bit of integrity at times!
