I think I now want Southampton to get promoted, just to ensure the skates stay bottom of the south coast pile.

Mind you, this lack of self awareness on the Southampton board kind of gets on my tits, so I'm almost saying that through gritted teeth.

But f*ck it, I still HATE Portsmouth. Even with that crappy post I still want Southampton promoted to keep Portsmouth bottom of the pile.

It's nice and still feels strange that we are the top South Coast club, followed by Bournemouth. For years it was Southampton followed by Portsmouth.

I will be watching from my lofty perch in the Premier League gloating seat at the shenanigans created by the Scummers and Skates. Popcorn and Pringles at the ready - let battle commence!

P.S. The proviso of course being that the Greatest Ever Team on the south coast don’t manage to wangle promotion back into the PL. :drink:

I declare a period of mourning that Pompey are back out of the bottom two divisions.

But this wanting Southampton to get promoted? WTF?

Who cares what happens between these two? In fact i'd hold my nose and enjoy a Pompey victory in the fixture, just to see the humiliation etched on the faces of the stains fans.

My brother supports Southampton and I don't mind them at all. I can't stand Portsmouth though.
