Heard about this on talk sport last week but lots of possibles with the United job. Only today they were discussing Emery as next united manager and would he leave Villa for them?

They've won 4 of their last 7 and are a 2 points behind us, In the form table they are 5th. They were probably the better side against United too.
I believe he did research, but maybe it was a shock to him (and to Barber and Bloom) that Trossard, AliMac and Caicedo ALL left in short order. Especially Caicedo... the club were shocked at the money Chelsea would actually throw at it. I think it blindsided all of them.

I agree with you - they would struggle to cope with him. Especially the players. Can you imagine the faces of Mount, Erikson and Diallo on their bench, as an irate RDZ screams 'f***ing focus' at them during the match?

Just some context. Bournemouth are having a good season - of course they are - but they'd argue - unless they hang around on here - that so are we.We handed Luton their biggest league win of the season and failed to beat Burnley twice

of course they are. Just providing some context . Perhaps their fans - obviously not the ones prone to checking out NSC - probably think we're ok too.
Emery needs a club with money and hungry players desperate to do well. That way he can be paid loads, and have some chance of success with his cerebral, empathy-free and demanding coaching approach.
Villa is perfect for him.
Emery at United would be a flop like the Arsenal adventure, with precious Big I Am players rejecting his pressure and sulking at the lack of hugs and kisses.

Potter left on a real high just as the everything he'd been putting together in his first couple of seasons started to come together. We were averaging over 2 points per game in his final 13-14 games.People cried in their own piss when Potter left, RDZ our best ever manager at this level and some people don’t seem arsed. I mean all he wanted was some help as he warned this current situation would happen if we didn’t strengthen in January
