Stuck at home with the WORLD'S WORST Toothache this weekend and so watching the stream on YouTube. Interesting chat with chairman Jon Filby on the commentary which touched on (among other things) links with the Albion on women's sport and community projects.

Went to the T20 last summer. We never got into the match. Bopara stuck around but then misfired.
Went with some Essex mates. Well looked after, easy beer access and full ground. Ground run down in a 1970's '80's good way.

Solid batting display today.
It does feel a while ago that Alsop was consistently good, while Clark and Carson are struggling to take the next step.
That is nit picking though.
Stick Pujara in at four and we‘ve got a very decent side at this level.

Very much so. Also FHP and Lamb at 7 & 8 are very handy indeed. Problem this year (especially with the change of ball) will be bowling teams out. But we’re certainly in a better place this year than last

Now both openers (Gay, Broad) dismissed. You could say Sussex are making a decent fist of this.
