Down in the Tubestation... for such an upbeat tune, the lyrics are horrifying, especially the last few lines.

I dunno, I just assume they either beat it out of him, or he had a keyfob... nicked his wallet with ID in.. lots of ways.

That’s Entertainment though is the pinnacle for me - just when you thought they couldn’t get any better and they produce a slightly out of character masterpiece. I remember hearing a demo tape and being blown away and unlike some of their output still very much stands up today.

The Birdie song still does it for me, but for different reasons though...
To Be Someone and English Rose are usually my favourites but they are all excellent. From the list, That's Entertainment is just ahead of Tubestation for me.
From The Jam are very good fun to see and I've probably seen them half a dozen times over the years (also The Gift, with Rick Butler) .

Tough choice, i don’t have a favourite song by The Jam as I like so many.
Definitely hard to name their best song.

Going Underground was my favourite, then That’s Entertainment came along.
Did it get its chart success as an import or a B-side, it wasn’t officially released as a UK single?
