Presuming the booing was aimed at the ref at half time? which just happened to take place just as a fair few of our players were starting to disappear down the tunnel.
Surely if it is aimed at the ref, why boo when there are plenty of chants that could be used instead to make their feelings clear (making it very clear who they were aimed at)

I booed John Brooks because he’s a waste of space.
I booed Ben White because he’s a child, Steve Holland was right, he’s a waster.
I booed Trossard because he’s gonna win the same amount as Brighton this season, ABSOLUTELY NOTHING.
Hope Liverpool or City win the league, Arteta is a loser.

But a big boo at the ref at half time happens up and down the country all the time even if the team has played well - every single person in the stadium knew it wasn't aimed at the players, including them I'm sure.

A couple near me in the west upper were so incensed that they left on 75mins.
