Anyone else seen it ?

Very odd, they've attempted to elevate the interview to Nixon Frost status.

My problem is the interview is there in all it's glory on IPlayer, there is nothing more to learn from watching a cut down copy.

To construct it into a film the main story is about the build up to it. Newsnight gets interview and that's about it.

The real story is about the Prince's relationship with Epstein but much more so Epstein abuse of victims. None of which is really covered.

If you want to see Gillian Anderson play Emily Maitlis as a young Margaret Thatcher, fill your boots.

Rubbish. 1/5

Must admit I thought it was a strange premise for a drama. Even stranger is that there is two separate ones being made?!

Bizarre!

Particularly annoying (when events are so close) is when they reconstruct the recorded media that is readily available elsewhere.

I'm not a conspiracy theorist, but that photograph does look a bit odd to me and always has. Photoshop the actors head on and it's looks even odder.

The weirdest scenes are with the ex-Director General Tony Hall. He barely says a word, but there is a scene where they rush to talk to him through the door of his box at the opera, Maitlis' dog accompanying her.

Can you take a pet dog into the Royal Opera House just to have a word with someone inside ?

If so, that's quite interesting but it's portrayed as so matter of fact it should have been expanded or left on the cutting room floor.

I was going to buy the book this is based on, but I won't bother now.

The story is supposed to be how Billie Piper's character secured the interview but it doesn't really come across as that. Anderson and Rufus Sewell are excellent in it though.

I think it is interesting in why Andrew did the interview and why his people didn’t stop it. Worth watching and I’m in favour when it helps to keep it on the agenda. Andrew wants the public to forget so he can slime his way back into public life. This will help keep him out of the way and everyone know what a disgrace he is.

I think you've missed the point of the film entirely. The clue is in the title -Scoop, like the board game. It's not about the interview as such which is readily available, or the 'real story ...Epstein', That's why it's not really covered. That's a different movie altogether. This was something else.

Think they missed a trick by not calling it No Sweat

Caught the end of a trailer, where it just listed who was in it, and thought that could be worth a watch, then later saw the full trailer and discovered it was about the Prince Andrew interview, and immediately lost interest, not going to watch.

No I haven't. There really isn't much of a story about how they got the interview - that's my point. Neither in reality or in the film.

The individual involved was employed to book guests and booked one. Postman posts letter...
