With the multiple moon landings, there would have been many thousands of people involved. These loonies expect us to believe not one of those, over all these years, has ever broken cover to say that the moon landings were faked. Not one. Despite the fact that if they had evidence they were faked they would become multi millionaires overnight.

The conspiracy theory nutjobs have no doubt convinced themselves that every individual, at every level, of the Apollo missions had their brains implanted by lizard creatures that came out of a hole. They are not well.

Isn't the biggest proof that we've been on the moon that we can see golf clubs, bits of lunar modules and the clangers with a decent telescope? Or is that a conspiracy as well?

Buzz Aldrin is still alive and kicking. He has challenged anyone to say to his face, that he didn't walk on the moon.

Dont believe in conspiracies but always had reservations on this one due to the Cold War situation and being so easy to pull off of course they could of made it in Hollywood if they wanted. And what are the public going to say no you didnt go to moon I was there I didnt see you. Nothing I lay awake thinking of because dont see how it matters me or anything
In 1967 and 1968 space treaties were signed by the two countries (USA and Soviet Union) that would allow for joint rescue of astronauts/cosmonauts and the return of space objects to their country of origin. In fact, during the Apollo 13 mission in April 1970, the Soviet Union offered assistance under the rescue treaty. Later that year, NASA Administrator Thomas O. Paine exchanged a series of letters with the President of the Soviet Academy of Sciences, Mstislav V. Keldysh, which led to a series of informal discussions on the possibility of U.S.-USSR joint rescue capability. In early 1971, the U.S. proposed a joint mission to test the docking hardware that was being designed, and the Soviets responded positively.

I often poke the bear on these pages for shits and giggles, the astonishing level of idiocy is hilarious, and some of their arguments take a level of baffoonery I never knew existed until I worked with a flearther.

If humans have landed on the moon 100% that nosey cow Tina Spoon would of complained about the mess and the light pollution by now so I for one reckon it's complete bollox.

So you don't believe anything that hasn't happened to you?????

I tend to trust evidence, facts and reliable witnesses. Call me old-fashioned.
lol. I believe most stuff that is simple to conceptualise.

Like I said. I’m just not convinced.

Probably if I were the astronaut that went

What confirms your belief?
It's two-pronged. Firstly there's all the visible, scientific, physically real evidence of the successful missions. Secondly there's the fact that this MASSIVE conspiracy has stayed intact for over fifty years. You're just being wilfully ignorant.

With all these conspiracy theories, I love the idea that you can get a team of specialists, all their support, financial, sourcing and administrative staff, plan, manage and run a huge project for 6 months/a year/multiple years costing huge amounts of money and various other resources and the whole project runs perfectly with no cock ups or corrections and all of these huge numbers of people manage to keep completely silent about it with no leaks and no trace of any of it ever having happened.

The conspiracy is always so much more complex than the actual reality

Yes, exactly my argument. Same for 9/11. How many thousands of government employees would have to have been involved in the planning and execution of... of what -- um, the US killing several thousands of its own citizens at random, including hundreds of their colleagues. And yet not a single one has ever decided to become fabulously wealthy by spilling the beans.

Fun Fact, my cousin worked on the computer electronics on Apollo 17. He said that it would have been impossible (at the time) to fake the doppler effect on the radio signal.
