Great news. It only seemed like a matter of time before one of the big clubs tried to poach him. Perhaps not so driven by the money and loves working with Bloom?

Based on absolutely ZERO inside information, for me this Barber news makes RDZ staying feel LESS likely.
Imagine Bloom gives him a huge amount of freedom to run the club, and he’s going to know all the other PL owners very well - suspect that knowledge is enough to determine that there aren’t many he’d want to work for…….

The deputy chairman thing is important too. No Nation-state owned club is giving him that.
And the shares that come with it, presumably mean that it would be against the rules for him to be involved at another PL club anyway (without giving those up).
Dunno……but it’s a cast-iron statement of the strategy continuing. Up to RDeZ whether he rolls with it I guess. The statements make it clear there’s money to be spent though, so the compromise position is probably within reach.

I’m not sure how he has remained out of the limelight - perhaps TB has put some kind of force around him that keeps him under the radar. For all his annoying foibles like bottle tops, flasks and food, he remains the one person that will keep our club competing with the so called big 6.
Unless there is a butting of heads between the two, like with Poyet, and this is Tony's way of showing who he values the most...

Thought this was interesting……bet a good chunk of the receivables are in relation to Mac (and likely to be hit). Wouldn’t be surprised to see similar overall profits reported next year given the Caicedo fee will be in the period.

I was surprised we could potentially owe more in add ons than we could receive, on paper (not in reality as don’t see us getting any for Cucurella or Sanchez) although the former now has a full cap)
