With Brighton playing Liverpool on Easter Sunday I wondered how common it was for Albion to play on this day?

I remember playing Man United on Easter Sunday a few years ago, but don’t remember any otherwise. Any Albion historians have any other examples?

Easter Sunday was one day we never played on going back. Often there would be THREE matches on the long weekend. But the Sunday, never. It's an odd day to play on. When I get some stat obsessive time I'll take a look.

I don't like it. Don't think it should happen. But it seems like like nothing is sacred anymore.

*I will still watch it and probably the Man City v Arsenal game as well. I realise that makes me a hypocrite.

Go large on a Jesus winner in the Arsenal - Man City.
As he's unlikely to start, it'll be a case of substitutionary atonement.

And if he does a Raheem Sterling (albeit with a different outcome) and willingly takes a penalty on behalf of others, all the better.

:)
