If we look at the players we've sold since 2021 we would have a team challenging the top 4.
Which players would you take back now if we had the chance? Based on fee, impact to our current squad and whether they burnt bridges when they left.

I'll start:
Ali Mac
Biss
Ben White
The bloke at Lisbon

The rest = no thanks.

I’d happily bring back caicedo.

He left the club with a massive amount of cash, so what if it annoyed liverpool

The way I see it. We've sold some terrific players. But we also have very good players on our books, so indulging in some alternative reality of what our side would look like if we hadn't made the sales we did, to me disrespects the players we have playing their hearts out for the Albion.

You'd also have to give back the money of course.

Would take back the sale of our world-class midfield. Retaining Macca and Moises - oh and investing in Levi Colwill as defence kingpin for the next ten years - would have primed us beautifully for the next level. Including in Europe this season. Oh well, I'm sure the club accountants are happy

Mac Allister and Bissouma. dont think the others would make as much difference individually.

Players move on; some people have hissy fits about it...............I don't, so ...................

Sanchez
White Ostigaard Clarke Cucurella
Caicedo Bissouma
Mwepu (if only it were possible) Mac Allister Trossard
Gyokeres
Yep, I think I'd be quite happy with that line-up (and I'd have Colwill and Tomori as well, if loanees were allowed!)
Roberts, Cochrane, Walton and Connolly on the bench. And Ashley Barnes..............

Burn, White, Cucurella, Bissouma, Caicedo, MacAllister, Bissouma, Trossard and even Maupay would of been useful for us this season like them or not. Just not Sanchez every time I see him he looks like a man who needs to move to a new country and start from scratch so nervous and insecure

Is it just me or was Ben White nothing special when he played for us that season?
