I will hold fire on deciding until the end of the season, let’s see if he starts to push and believe in his body. If he does we’ll see the real Fati imo. Whether that will take him out of our reach is another thing. Also depends on if RDZ is here next season I think

If we can make the wages work, then yes. Whilst it’s true that Ansu has failed to live up to the hype there have been moments of quality, particularly in the Europa league which have showcased his potential. A good offseason with Ansu gaining more post-injury confidence, could see a much different player next season.
That said the price, both fee and wages, should be Albion friendly. Fati is not a superstar yet and the money should reflect that

Out of interest do we know how much the club pay him. My friend (I have more than one) said it was 50% of £300k per week? He is undoubtedly a good player who got an injury just as he was coming into form for us this season, but not for £150k per week if that is true.

See in the next 10 games. Think he's best up against high press teams coming up. Running on to balls through the lines.( Ajax). Trying to pass around the box not his game. I would like another season.

Fati still has a huge amount to prove to his parent club. Barcelona won't have been overly thrilled with what he's done at the Albion this season. If the option is there for a second season, maybe he'll kick on bigtime. The Albion resurrected Danny Welbeck's career, maybe they can do the same for Fati. He'll never get a better place to try. If all the commentary on the Albion refers to it being an organisation that leans heavily on data and evidence, then a review of the Fati loan will, in all likelihood, be deemed not good value. It could be repeated but only if the terms are significantly modified.

That’s crap! To say he‘s done absolutely nothing is ridiculous. His contribution has been limited due to injury but when he has performed he’s been outstanding. Whether he’s worth keeping on for another season on his current wages, well, that’s debatable and would probably depend on what he has to offer over the next ten games.
I was quite keen on the idea until it was quoted on here just how much money is being spent to cover his wages especially when he then unavailable for huge parts of the season
However on the other hand if he were happy to take a pay cut and Barcelona were willing to terminate his contract then it’s got to be worth considering

This, the monetary side is blinding people we have wasted far more on duds over the years. He is clearly talented and was ecstatic after the game against Forest he obviously likes it here.

I like him, but he’s probably a squad player at best for us, so what is he for Barcelona?
He probably needs a fresh start at a La Liga club and a long run without injury to get back to his best. I haven’t seen enough from him to want to extend.

He has 10 games left to change his career over the next few years. I suspect Barco might take his place next season though.
