Of course it’s subjective and the whole Olympics of 2012 was emotional for me from the opening ceremony. I think my abiding memory is Andy Murray winning the tennis gold medal. In an era of Roger Federer, Novak and Nadal it’s a wonder he won anything! He had lost Wimbledon to Roger earlier in the summer making it doubly cathartic, or whatever the word is! Also I only caught bits of Super Saturday whereas I watched all of the tennis final so maybe that’s why it sticks.

We were in a sports bar at a Centreparc, thinking the title lost, until THAT moment.
For me, the Rugby WCF in 2003 and Jonny’s last gasp drop kick. Ian Robertson’s R5 commentary matched the magic. Goosebumps.

I think that 5th gold was in Sydney. Loved it. All the rowing golds in that wonderful era were special, with the passionate commentary from the BBC experts.
Similarly, all the track cycling golds.

Rugby World Cup - Rediculous reffing of scrum made it a far closer game than it should’ve been, but an unforgettable finish.
Men’s ashes - this was still a great Aussie team and there were 4 rediculously exciting tests.

That's the one for me, the drama of it was off the scale
Super Saturday includes a gold for a bloke who improved dramatically for eating Quorn and absolutely nothing to do with his drug cheat coach, the Ashes was great but in the cold light of the day we won a 2 horse race for this first time in years and the Man utd treble can absolutely get in the bin.
I'd have the cricket world cup out of that list and the rugby as a close second. They were 2 wins in World cups that will go down in history.
