I dont dislike him. I can understand why he left but given he joined under a Blair govt (and his parents were ex militant tendency who were booted out of labour in the 80s and who joined labour again in 1999) its a strange path. But at least he has given his opinion.

I’d about as interested in him leaving as I am in how many times he shits a day.
Pathetic shouty behaviour, imagine the levels of self importance one must have to publicly leave the Labour Party, like one poster on here Jones will be back when his kind of stink is more palatable to him and will publicly announce his rejoin too 
To the left politicians and their supporters so pure their sh1t doesn't smell. To the right politicians and their supporters who aren't rascist but just want our country back. I hope Jones and all the others who fall into either camp here, get utterly marginalised in the coming election.
We need politicians who CAN compromise and who are brave enough to pick the least bad option and convince others when there isn't a good/right choice on the table.

People like Owen Jones would seemingly prefer Labour never to be elected. They don't seem to understand that the majority of Brits are broadly Centrist - some a little to the left, some a little to the right. Most of us want a fairer society than we have currently, but are still very much in favour of incentivising enterprise, etc, etc.
Blair got it, and Starmer seems to get it. Owen Jones and his ilk would rather seethe and moan from the far left, undermining the valiant efforts of centre-left politicians, and leaving the door open for loonies like Farage and Rees-Mogg.

TBF one of the main points of the video is that Labour have promised to continue with the same failed austerity as the Tories and when this continues to fail it'll open the door to the far right.

I hear you Owen but the Tories could still win the GE, never under estimate the power of right wing propaganda in our media, especially with millions being ploughed into AI to fry peoples brains.
If we had a proper representative democracy I'd probably vote Green too, but we don't so I will vote tactically. Its the only way to ensure the Tories are binned.
If Labour do get in, I'm not expecting utopia anytime soon, but whatever happens it has to be better than the post 2016 iteration of the Tories that are gradually hollowing out our country

Can't help but think people should wait and see when the manifestos say before nailing their colours to any particular mast. I'm hopeful that there will be enough in the labour manifesto for me and other left leaning people to get behind and vote for. I understand some of Owen's points about dishonesty/changing of stance but that can be a sign of strength as well as weakness. Blindly following certain policies despite negative public and media reaction would be naïve and similar to how Liz Truss handled things
