The rough price will be the exact price, give or take a few pennies either way.

I would guess it depends on if, there is an old fence and post to remove and take away, and how easy it is to get to. My friend has 98 steps to climb to get to his front garden. When accessing his rear garden, you have to go through the house. Good luck with it and keep a eye on the lady of the house, because a fencer has been known to hammer all day. Unless she likes it noisy.

I DIY'd a 38m run of exactly that in 2021, it cost £2,200 in materials/fixings/concreting/concrete gravel boards. Tripling that to include labour, muliple by 10/38 = £1,737.

At today prices, guessing £2,500 + VAT if they're registered.

I dug out all the old footings, but fencers tend to create a fresh stagger of intermediate posts to avoid that pain.
