I'd like to take the opportunity to thank the team, De Zerbi and Bloom for getting us into this position.

An absolutely unbelievable position to have been in. That group stage still seems unreal somehow

I would one million percent take being knocked out at this stage over not making it at all.

Well done to everyone yesterday, we had hope but it was too much of an uphill struggle.

UTA.

When are we getting the monorail?

Absolutely brilliant. I'm sure it will have given Bloom the hunger for more as well.

Tony has given us what matters the most.

No, no, i'm not talking about cherished memories. I'm talking about material with which we can lord it over Palace for as long as we want
The semi final defeat at the Amex when we had Potter will be lorded forever and a day.

Happy to second that.

In years to come you will hear people sneering that we beat a "poor" Ajax side. Just remember we went out to last year's finalists and with a kinder run of injuries the result could have been very different.

Marseille had a fantastic result to get through and whilst I doubt anyone is adopting them as a second side, this also shows we have not had an easy ride.

Both Liverpool and West Ham appear to have had much easier draws. The bits I saw of Freiburg, they looked truely out of their depth and I was concerned Slavia Prague might attempt to do a Palace at Anfield. Fortunately they kept it down to single figures in the end.

I hope we get to do this again, but either way I am glad to say I was there (excluding Athens away).

They have taken us into Europe:bloom:

It’s always disappointing to be knocked out of any tournament, but boy, did we go out with credit last night. Our first foray in a European competition and we finish top of our group of death. Into the knockout stage and although thumped 4-0 to Roma thus killing the tie we put on such a brave performance yesterday. Not only did we win but it was a resolute performance full of pride and passion. To be honest we were never going to overcome a 4-0 deficit but we showed that we were not going to take the exit lying down and so it proved.

Also, a mention for the fans. Very few empty seats, the vast majority stayed to the end and all the way through were right behind the boys. It certainly is a great club we follow and love.
