Years ago i was on a bus in town that was commandeered by the old bill and we were turfed off so they could transport leeds fans to the goldstone.

Thats the trouble today. Not enough COMMANDEERING going on.

I mean we even commandeered the royal yacht brittania, 3 cargo ships and 2 cruise liners for the falklands war in 1982.

What time do we reckon the Roma fans will get marched up? I’m toying with going early vs going late (and accepting I might miss 5-10 mins). The danger of the second option is if we’ve given away our customary gifted goal then I may as well turn around and go home again…

The info says large groups will be escorted. I'm not sure if there is one big march like they do against Palace

Yep - the Roma fan responsible was extradited from Italy and given a three-and-a-half year sentence.

Which, frankly feels wholly inadequate.

I just can't imagine the thought process that has someone thinking the thing to do when arriving at Anfield is to take a belt with a heavy brass buckle and smash it round the head of someone else who just happens to be there at the same time.
