Not just the excitement it'll bring to the game. It would do MASSIVE good for the rest of the season.
A really good performance, a win, even going out, will be huge.
Crap atmosphere and a poor performance would be a real sucker blow.
It's a huge game because of that.
Yeah, that's where I am. Whilst I don't think we can win the tie, I do think we can win the match. And a good, fighting, heads-held-high performance resulting in a morale-boosting victory will do us the power of good imo, even if it ultimately it isn't enough to progress. What I really don't want is another zero-goal (for us) home defeat.

Of course there's an outside, remote chance that we could pull off the mother and father of all comebacks, but that's not where the smart money is (or even the money that left school with only a GCSE in woodwork).

Newmarket.
We'll be 0-5 on aggregate down without 10 minutes on the clock then they'll settle for that and shut up shop.
We'll then play some lovely football in our own half and the centre of the pitch resulting in us dominating them with 78% possession, 19 shots, 2 of which will be on target, 3 corners and no goals.
One of our key players will get injured, one long termer will be sent off, and a star youngster shall be introduced and it shall be proclaimed post match that Liverpool would have to pay over £60 mil for him.
The chosen pie of the day shall be pollo con funghi and RDZ will get sent to the stands.

I don't think we'll do it.
But I so hope we do or at least show them how we can play.

But no, we won't.

Many a true thing said in jest!

I believe we can turn it around. Fulham's run to the final starring a certain Bobby Zamora involved some improbable comebacks and we're a better team than they were (depending on who's in nets!). I believe we can make one hell of a comeback tomorrow evening.

Whilst looking out my window with my Albion tinted glasses on, I saw an old Tesco carrier bag and a seagull which clearly are a sign we can do it. I feel oddly optimistic and I have no reason why. I suspect I will be disappointed but hey, let’s at least go in with some hope rather than write us off before we’ve even kicked a ball.

Of course we could! Unlikely but absolutely not impossible.
i just want us to go down fighting if we are not to achieve the seemingly impossible!
