We’ll be lucky not to lose on the night with our injuries and tiredness I’m afraid. Just can’t see us coming even close…

No one is actually thinking we could have a 5:0 ‘comeback’ against Roma on Thursday are they?! That wouldn’t be a ‘happy clappy comeback’, it’ll be a bleedin miracle me lovelies

I don’t remember all the matches mentioned above but I suspect most of them that came back from high goal scoring deficits were teams more or less either as least as good as the team they were trailing or better. We are not up to the level of Roma even on a good day, they are simply a better team - certainly not good enough to a/ keep a clean sheet and b/ to score 5 goals against them imo. They play an all round better game link up game than us and at a much faster past - they can be vulnerable in defence but we’d need a level of accuracy in our shooting to take advantage of that which is something we simply don’t possess imo. If Roma were having an off day, and we were having a good one and played at a level I k ow we can, we could maybe pull off a win but 5:0 is too much of a stretch for me 🙂

What about 4-0 and win on penalties?

You should email PBOBE and tell him to forfeit the match  .
I am not expecting us to comeback but I DO very much expect us to at least give it a good go.

To be fair to the lad, Christian Horner has done sensationally given where he was a couple of weeks ago.

Harold Bishop in Neighbours. Went down to the beach, got washed off the rocks and disappeared, then wandered into the Erinsborough coffee shop years later claiming to have had amnesia.

James McAtee for Sheffield United at Bramall Lane a few weeks ago.

Critically injured, lying on the pitch pounding the turf, then realised they'd got the ball back, sprung to his feet, beat two defenders and pinged a shot just wide of the post.

What utter crap you write eh? Instead of trying to be clever - Read people’s posts properly and have the decency to acknowledge when you are mistaken.
Your first sentence was a negative response on a positive thread. Hence sarcastic reply. I am not going to trawl the entire board to read your essays on everything before formulating a reply to you.

f*** off kill joy! 😉

3-1 down in the pissing rain at the Goldstone ( V Bmuff about '94?) in the 85th minute and then strutting, grinning, soaked to the skin, to the exchange for beers, a point on the board.

Anything can happen, stranger things have. We've lived through bigger hopes and pulled off (oo-err, fnarr fnarr ) all sorts Over the years.

chances are 'slim to Karen Carpenter' granted, but we have a chance . . . with your attitude you're never getting on TB's pay roll! Stay at home.

More sarcasm? You didn’t read my post properly- i asked if any one actually believed we can make a comeback and beat Roma by 5:0? I guess that was the point of the ‘happy clappy‘ thread?

You didn’t need to trawl anywhere else, you just needed not to read something into my post that wasn’t there - I said absolutely NOTHING ABOUT NOT MAKING AN EFFORT TO WIN on Thursday - you simply made that up.

Rankings - at least we are in to top 50 - that impressive
