Definitely a red, that it wasn't given is typical bias in favour of the bigger team.

We got away with one today
And frankly, it's about time we did.
I called it as red all the way from north WSU even with my old dodgy eyes. Seeing the replay makes me even more sure.

Yellow. Starts with one foot aimed to the ground, trailing leg catches up. Eyes for the ball. No serious injury likely due to distances. It looks much, much worse/forceful than it actually is due to the run-up.
I am sure that the 'panel' will be reading this thread and the yellow will be upgraded to a red during the week.

I think this is what Dermot will say tomorrow i'm guessing he will say He's lucky as if it was any higher it would have been a red.
I've voted having not seen it on telly, but at the game it looked like he left the ground and was out of control, very lucky

It was an orange. Ref gave a yellow so leave it at that. Good VARing for once. If the ref gives a red then leave that too.

I'd say it was more six to nine inches.
Anyway, we were watching the replays from over the shoulders of the TV commentators at the time and we and everyone else around us were sitting uncomfortably in our seats, waiting for the ref to be sent to the VAR screen to review it. I cannot believe it wasn't even referred. Red card all day long for me.
However. I remember Ryan Yates and that other carthorse...Worrall maybe?...each committed about fifteen fouls in the home game against Forest last season while remaining on the pitch, and shithoused their way to one of the most annoying, undeserved draws I can remember. So basically, I don't feel sorry for them in the slightest.
Is that how it works? I honestly don't know. But there is a difference between a foul where you're trying to get the ball, and one where you have no intention of getting the ball.
