[Albion] I think he's leaving this summer...

No one is bidding £70m for Pedro this year. And Mitoma is unlikely to go unless he recovers and has a solid end to the season
Agree on the first but everyone has seen enough of Mitoma to attract bids alas

Hinshelwood had a stress fracture, which is very likely down to training intensity. Enciso and Mitoma were also training injuries as were Pedro's and, I think, Estupinan's initial injury. The only on-field injuries I recall are March's at City and Fati's at Forest.
Are you sure those were all training injuries?? pretty ridiculous if true 😦.

Me too, he gave a good presser: honest, didn't duck any questions, even the stupidly irritating ones. Intense, honest, analytical 👍.
The reporting of these interviews v what's actually said is very interesting i think.

But he's clearly pissed off at how much weaker the squad is than this time last year and who can blame him at this point, with the extra games, the injuries and the way we ignored January thinking players would get fit.

But he has to take some responsibility for defending and keeping in recent weeks. It's been garbage.

Christ, give it a bloody rest, will you?
I thought his interview was very good. Made it clear him staying has got nothing to do with getting into Europe. Also how difficult it is for everybody at club playing 3 games a week including medical staff having only 2 days to get players ready to play again so soon. He emphasised that were we to qualify again all at club including himself would have to approach it differently which is a fair enough comment.
I would of liked him to be asked if he was so concerned about numbers why did we loan Undav and Dahoud out.

I feel with financial backing in the summer and a promise to hold on to our big names, he will stay. He is a man of integrity and knows bigger fish will always be waiting. I'm sure once he heard Brian Clough's biggest regret was leaving Brighton, he knew the grass would not necessarily be greener on the other side.

Undav wanted to go home to Germany (and probably wasn't too chuffed at the idea of being third or fourth choice striker here after previously starring for USG) and Dahoud didn't appear to offer anything much more than we could expect from Doyle (or Mullins or Chouchane or Baker-Boaitey or Barrington) if called upon. So I wouldn't "of" wanted to bother RDZ with such a question.

I think he does. When asked about what Tony needs to do for the third or fourth time, he says I have to learn and improve as a coach. He then takes responsibility for the results since January.

Hinshelwood’s body is still developing and that combined with intensity can cause stress injuries. Enciso’s tear would be an unfortunate twist which could happen anywhere and Mitoma’s back could easily have been triggered by a winter tournament and two long haul flights.

Newcastle have a similar injury list to us, have also played in Europe with a small ish squad and are also inconsistent in the league. No ones talking about Howe resigning or killing his players.

Misery. Is there a more moany manager in the league now ?

Quite like the interviewer at the end riling him up.
You should arrange to meet up with him and then you could both be miserable together

Maybe have a competition to see who could be the most insufferable berk?

Surprised nobody has suggested he uses the term “bare bones” yet in interviews.

It’s clear he is pissed off with the club for lack of investment in January. That seems to be rubbing off on the players now and we are playing without belief.

As has been said above, the club are far too reliant on signing kids.

Our highly thought of recruitment team have got it wrong in the last two windows.

We had a real chance to do something special this season, the club blew it.
What highly thought of recruitment team? They have all gone to Chelsea ha

De Zerbi said: “It’s different playing one game per week and three games per week, a different sport.”

This season started on 12th August which is 30 weeks ago. I am struggling to recall all 90 matches we have played this season. In fact we have played 7 extra matches through those 30 weeks due to Europe. This whole 3 games a week thing annoys me. In some weeks we play 2 but people keep adding the game on a Saturday to a Thursday and then a Sunday. Does my head in. I know I need to get over it but you can’t say one game a week we we play sat then sat but three a games when we play 3 sat until Sunday.
