The worse VAR decision we've had since Palace (including Spurs!) won't impact on us going through so that softens the blow a bit.

It will feel nice when we score next Thursday.

Thank you 2023/24 Albion and the betting markets, easy money.

Yep, easy money to take the edge off the disappointment.

I still think it's nuts that we're in Europe at all, so getting schooled tonight doesn't make me want to throw the baby out with the bath water.

It will surely make it very evident freebies aren't the way forward to progress.

Please don't bounce the post when the Henderson reveal takes place.

That will have really hurt Roberto, being trounced by his mate.
He needs to take a good look at his work and refocus everyone.
If he doesn’t want that challlenge then maybe we get someone in who can organise us defensively. .

That doesn’t explain the rubbish defence over much of the season.
Indeed that's the manager. He got away with before he's now being found out out, becoming a real issue.

RDZ fanciers will have been put off by this. Knocked out of the two cups we were in in quick succession.

We will surely keep him next season which is great IF the club back him in the summer. They must calculate that most of our best players will spend a considerable time on the injury couch so the squad needs to be stronger to cope.

clutching at straws here but perhaps this is similar to where we drew to middlesbrough in THAT game. it hurt, but we would’ve gone straight back down and were better off in the long run. perhaps we’re a season too early for europe. take stock, show some more ambition in terms of recruitment and if we do end up getting europe again then we have the experience and quality to make an even better go of it. my only big worry is the mentality in these sorts of crucial games. it has to improve

Away games on Saturdays. I look online and so often there’s just one goal in the PL so far …. guess who …. against us. Whilst 15 other PL outfits making it fkn hard for the home team.

Making an away win extremely unlikely.

It was very close, 2 or 3 seats but I didn’t get luzzed with a near full pint

Totally agree, we look like conceding every time a team attacks us quickly. It's a huge issue now. It's all last ditch. We're so open.
