With Mbappe gone, they are going to sign McBappe!

On the plus side, they are going to have the refs dressed like clowns.

A sport played by elite level athletes sponsored by some of the unhealthiest garbage you can consume.
It’s fine in moderation. I have it 5-6 times a year and it’s a nice treat. You can’t live on the stuff though, that’s where people go wrong.

US sports are practically owned by Gatorade and beer brands.

In Canada, there is some effort to "healthify" our sponsorships. Here in Ottawa-Gatineau, our NHL Senators dropped the Coca-Cola Zone in favour of... Milk!

But our other main sponsor is still McDonald's, and the lesser sponsors are mostly local: pizzerias, car dealerships, hardware stores, with several national companies thrown in (sports networks, telecomms). Gambling sites are unfortunately making inroads here, too. Nearly forgot: One sponsor is a recycling company, so that makes 2!!! healthy/eco sponsors, lol.

I'm guessing that's because dairy farmers in Canada basically run a cartel and have plenty of money to burn.

Surely McDonalds is an improvement on Uber eats?

Fair enough, but you also sell milk in bags and sorry, that's just weird.

Here's Why Milk Comes in Bags in Parts of Canada -- CBC

Well, I've spent practically my whole life using milk bags in specially-made pitchers, so for the years I spent living in Western and Eastern Europe, and East Asia, I had to adapt to the absolute weirdness of bottles and jugs being slipped through a round hole in my front door every morning!

A cultural shock from which I've yet to recover...

I've lived in Canada for over 8 years and still REFUSE to buy milk in bags.
