The thing that table can't show is the importance of the players injured. That's why Brentford and us have been so unlucky as Brentford have lost so many of their key players and players like March and Mitoma are crucial to the way we play. Newcastle losing perma-crock Wilson or Matt Targett for example for most of the season doesn't carry the same weight as us losing those two.
Do we know what source the BBC use out of interest as if they use the Premier Injuries website for example, that includes suspensions so Tonali's in it which would skew things.

Yep - the thing that makes this all the more disappointing is that I think most of us are accepting this will likely be RDZ's last season with us. Although the club are phenomenal at finding replacements I can't see us doing as well next season, even if we retain all of our best players and have better luck with injuries. Hope I'm wrong, mind.
I disagree. RDZ is good but we can find just as good out there. And I reckon our squad will be stronger at the start of next season, Vs the start of this season.

Slightly misleading table in as much as it doesn't take into consideration which players are injured and for who, Chelsea have a lot of injuries but a thousand players

I’m wondering if there’s a correlation with managers who play a high energy pressing game and with pace? Ange’s mimicked Jurgen with a fast paced pressing game and marauding FB’s.
The polar opposite of Conte and Mourinho’s dull crap at Spurs, whilst Brighton and Newcastle play a pressing game too.
The outlier is ManC, but Abu Dhabi have funded back up in every position so fewer players don’t get injuries through workload.
This is a valid point along side VAR breaks and pulled muscles.
