Lots of nonsense on here about Jason Steele imo. He made a bad error but was in no way to blame for tonight’s result.
Well it would’ve been 0-0 without the error, so bit of a stretch to say he’s in no way to blame.

And if they didn’t have the lead for 89 mins they might have left themselves a bit more open.

I know this sounds ridiculous but I'm actually starting to think we just weren't allowed to have a home cup game this season. The efl trophy game was moved to the away ground for no apparent reason and all four cup games were away. The second we knew we had a potential home cup game coming up, we get knocked out. f***ing wonderful

Indeed. Entitlement.....

Being in the top flight is year on year battles....I'd rather see us consolidate and inch forward, than have a flash in the pan cup success (a la Wigan and Twats) and sink into the mire.

We lost tonight. Onwards and upwards.

Have to say I am feeling a bit more confident that RDZ will still be with us next season. I would think the so called big clubs will watch our games and not be too impressed with attacking methods or indeed defending at times.

An opportunity for Wembley again wasted by Steele 1st and last minute.
What about being dogshit within 30 yards of the Wolves goal?

Steel effed up, but outfield players were doing the same all game long.

Did we ever look like shooting, let alone scoring?

Formation, tactics, and performances all at sea.

Like I said earlier I expected us to lose tonight,
then we will fade away in the league
and Roma will be to strong for us
we have too many injuries and not a big enough squad to cope

Mistakes are made all over the pitch, unfortunately when a keeper makes one it often leads to a goal, make one in midfield, and maybe not much happens. A mistake in the 1st min was followed by a lot of other mistakes by us all over the pitch tonight - crosses going out of play, miss placed passes, chances missed.

Even if we had scraped through we would have lost to Man City at some stage and probably at Wembley in a semi final with a train strike , so great we can concentrate on winning the europa league as that’s are only chance of getting into Europe again next season

Let’s be honest the goal is on Steele. However the fact that our best chance to score fell to Steele in the last minute is more telling

Another performance devoid of movement and creativity in the final third despite the talent we have at our disposal. Constant recycling before over hitting a clipped pass on an obviously wet rapid pitch. I’d actually welcome some Bissouma-esqe 30’yard snatche efforts, have a go for f*** sake

Steele should not be held responsible for missing that chance.

We have attackers who didn't do anything throughout the whole match, it reminds me of Potterball.
