Ive been in hospital most of the week and still very ill with a kidney and serious chest infection - it would have taken a win today to get me anywhere near feeling excited - it is what it is.
Hope you feel better soon Zeb!

Bad point at the start, good point at the end.

Bloody Dyche always gets something out of us.

Man U losing softens the blow a bit

Thought we were poor collectively today, but did well to rescue a point with ten men after looking so toothless all game.

We had a great number of shots on goal which pad the stats somewhat, but very few quality chances. We looked shaky at the back and had an off day going forward.

Ferguson needs to up his game; we would definitely benefit from another outright striker option in the summer (who wouldn’t!) because when we start both Welbeck and Ferguson together, there are zero options to lead the line available on the bench.

Dreadful foul for the red card - blatant red all day long and a really nasty one. You see them so often, a player frustrated at themselves for mis controlling a pass, getting red mist and going over the ball. Awful challenge, no complaints.

Thought the referee had a very good game. Comments about a second yellow for Tarkovski are wide of the mark - it would have been extremely harsh to give a second yellow for such an innocuous foul.

Dyche certainly “has our number” to some extent and it was almost a perfect smash and grab from them. Glad to see the back of them for another season.

One to forget, but still a point in the bag. Going to really miss Gilmour for three games.
I can't agree with your comment on Tarkowski's second yellow. The ball was well past him and Welbeck was on his way so Tarkowski took him out. It's a yellow card all day long and absolutely would have been given if he wasn't already on a yellow.

😳I don’t need a sanctimonious lecture on how I should be a more appreciative fan thanks- I’ve been supporting Brighton for 50 years and have rarely rarely said anything negative about the team or individual - I’m the least entitled person there is
- in fact the very opposite- it is usually me singing our praises when others have criticised our . manager or players/season/match performance

I didnt say anything negative about the team today either - My remark has been taken entirely out of context. If we had not played very well and created so many chances in the first half hour, I would have been more excited about a draw but we missed some very easy walk ins that should have had us up by several goals before half time.

Didn’t mean to come across as sanctimonious, but point taken. Apologies. Hope you’re okay and on the mend. Take care.

Thanks - I didn’t mention it for sympathy, it was just to say it’s been a godawful week and I personally really needed a win today. More very frustrated than disappointed because we were playing so well initially - and I certainly didn’t intend any slur against Dunkie - he’s a trooper and I love the guy.

Yep. He had a poor game today and to be honest has not been on it for the past three or four weeks. It was a poor challenge too. Probably knackered in his defence.

Looking forward to seeing someone else there to give Gross a bit more support.
Frustrating we needed midfield reinforcements in January, wasting a few days offering Leicester futile bids for their star man wasn’t helping anyone.

Oh yeah I know the feeling exactly.

We've had a family member in hospital the last couple of weeks and it's never nice. You try and take the joy where you can and when the joy doesn't come it's disheartening.

We don’t beat dyche at the Amex. It’s time to just get used to it because it is unlikely to change any time soon.
I certainly can't see it changing before we next play his side at the Amex
