Has anyone watched Six Nations: Full Contact? Was very disappointed by the first one (not just because I'm English, I just don't like the way the timeline is set to run)

Another vote for 'Kin ' here! Series 1 of the Irish crime family drama currently on Iplayer. Thought it was excellent and Series 2 is on it's way soon to iplayer.

Here’s one to get excited about.

Keira Knightley, Ben Whishaw and Sarah Lancashire will appear in Netflix’s spy drama, Black Doves, later in the year.

The series follows Helen Webb (Knightley), a quick-witted, down-to-earth, dedicated wife and mother — and professional spy. For 10 years, she’s been passing on her politician husband’s secrets to the shadowy organisation she works for: the Black Doves.

When her secret lover Jason (Andrew Koji) is assassinated, her spymaster, the enigmatic Reed (Sarah Lancashire) calls in Helen’s old friend, Sam Young (Ben Whishaw) to keep her safe.

Netflix is releasing an intriguing-sounding thriller later this year called Eric, which stars Benedict Cumberbatch.

Cumberbatch plays Vincent, one of New York’s leading puppeteers and creator of the hugely popular children’s television show, Good Day Sunshine, struggles to cope with the loss of his son, Edgar, becoming increasingly distressed and volatile.

Full of self-loathing and guilt around Edgar’s disappearance, he clings to his son’s drawings of a blue monster puppet, ERIC, convinced that if he can get ERIC on TV then Edgar will come home.

As Vincent’s progressively destructive behaviour alienates his family, his work colleagues, and the detectives trying to help him, it’s Eric, a delusion of necessity, who becomes his only ally in the pursuit of bringing his son home.

I watched it and was disappointed. I thought the format worked well for F1, Sunderland till I die (for the comedy aspect) etc and I know the six nations is popular, but does it warrant a full Netflix series?

I found the players/characters pretty boring / exactly the stereotypes I’d expect, and not much really happens behind the scenes.

They could probably do a documentary on the Scottish Fly Half, Finn Russell who seems like an absolute liability with a bit of David Brent vibes going on. - I think that would be quite entertaining.

Either you're thinking of the wrong show or I've been thoroughly desensitised. It's also possible that I've forgotten the violence as a good few months have passed since I watched it 🤔
