[Help] English Football Books

Hello NSCers,

Hope you're all well.

My friend and I (both Albion season ticket holders for 30 years+) have set up:

www.englishfootballbooks.com

@EngFootBooks

The domain name was available for £40 so we thought we try and build a library of books, listed by individual clubs, or by players'/managers' names.

We're currently adding League One and Two clubs.

The aim is to grow organically by building relationships with fan sites like NSC.

If you have friends who support other clubs, or are based in North America, please help us spread the word.

Thanks in advance.

Dan

If this is a sanctioned sponsored sell effort surely it should be a sticky ?

I'm not 100% sure what the OP wants here...

An awareness of additional books to add to the site or sales revenue from Amazon.

We managed to find some of the older ones on Amazon.

If you have links to Albion books, please share. Don't have to be on Amazon.
How do you want to be notified of any additions? There isn't a submit option on your site.

Do they still need to be for sale new and commercially off the shelf?

Have you considered including old annuals like Shoot?

There’s the general football year books. Sad to hear the Nationwide football annual has finished. I’ve got a long run going back to early News of the World editions
My younger brother got the latest edition of the Rothmans Football Year Book for Christmas in 1984. I 'borrowed' it to read on the coach to Charlton, for the NYD fixture a week later.

For some reason (security, possibly...), I didn't want to leave my bag on the coach, so I took it into the game, and left it there at the Valley, under my seat - losing not only said Yearbook, but also my own new split screen nintendo Donkey Kong game, and a mars bar

(Not that I DWELL on it...)

If you were my brother, Hans, and you had lost one of MY Rothmans Football Yearbooks, I'm not sure I would ever have spoken to you again....
