Its a shame that this result means no more to you than a routine win against anyone else in the league.

Palace fans are tearing themselves apart over this tonight. They're hurt, they're furious, they're embarrassed, they're miserable. We did that to them, and absolutely rubbed their noses in it to the extent that they literally couldn't take it, and walked away. Walked out. The ones that remained then gave dogs abused to the team when they went over to applaud them. Wonderful scenes.

WE did that to them. It feels really, really good and I'm going to be walking around feeling a warm Ready-Brek glow for at least a week. I don't get this deep satisfaction from any old win. This was special.
This.
At end of the day it is just 3 points, but it just wouldn't feel the same if we'd won 4-1 against Fulham, Sheff Utd or Burnley.

Everything is heightened. For every ounce of Albion euphoria you know theres an equal ounce of Palace despair.

The 2nd/3rd within 2 minutes, the absolute scenes and joy, then a minute later everyone full pelt in the NS singing "You're f***ing shit".

Not only have our players ripped them a new one, the gleeful delight of Albion fans rubbing their hurting egos in shattered illusions, NEVER gets old.

This is sporting theatre.

Today we kicked their sorry arses on the pitch & terraces. Back up the M23, humiliated with their tails between legs.

Add west upper to that, sounded like it definitely started in the north and spread. Absolute scenes
Yep, I have never heard that song sung so loudly, I wouldn't be surprised if all Albion parts of the stadium were joining in. It was a moment of wonderful, insulting beauty.

Just glorious wasn't it?

That wave of emotion from Hinshelwood's header hitting the net through to the absolute SCENES AND LIMBS of the celebrations from the quick fire third was just something else.

Yep, when the third went in it was unbelievable, as the third goal was lovely and Palace were just falling apart. It felt like it could be a really special day.

But after that, I have to say I was a bit disappointed. Too many times we decided to turn back, when we should have pushed forward. The opposite of Barkley against Newcastle (for those that watched MOTD). It was as if the game meant nothing more than the 3 points and we had an important game coming up in a few days. I'm sorry, but it meant more than just the 3 points to us.

Palace had a decent chance to get back to 3-2. Fortunately they didn't take it, and Welbs and Pedro combined to score another beauty, which finished it off nicely.

If you notice, they started their (barely audible nonsense) ‘she said no’ wankfest song about 3 secs before Dunky scored - absolutely perfect

Indeed.

It's funny that actually, she didn't say no. She said yes, and all of the players said no. Except for Dunk, he wasn't even there until she was sleeping, and he went to sleep on the floor.

Idiots.

Couldn't be there, broken foot, Warren complained about Gilmore constantly passing backwards instead of turning to look for a forward pass. Also the way we took our foot off the gas and got sloppy, did the same in the cup last week and in the first half paid for it.
