Every year they make the same mistakes.

Either they haven't watched any previous series, they're all thick as shit, or it's a bit of a fix to keep the crap ones in it for ratings and twitter conversation.

Or any combination of the above.

Every year I feel this way. Most years I still get sucked back in. Not quite sure why. The contestants annoy me, Karen Brady annoys me and Alan Sugar annoys me. That Tim guy might as well be an AI bot as well, complete personality vacuum.
Winds me up when Tim the Tailors Dummy says "Fink' and 'Fought' almost as much as little Shugs says 'We was..' and 'You was'

And yes, I'm a grammar snob and proud of it.

The candidate quality drops every year. Sugar's terrible humour worsens every tear. He should have the lot of them and then resigned.

Why were the girls doing a Telly Tubby tribute in the boardroom?

At least the Tom Allen show is worth a watch.

West is BEST
Watching it for the first time in about five or six years.

I see the quality of candidates is still positively subterranean.

I’m trying to see if there’s any fitties but there are too many jump cuts and quick pans to get a good look at their boats.

Early signs are not hopeful.

Usual gathering of f***-wits, narcissists, control freaks, delusional dum-dums, and disorganised, calamitous spong-heads.

Looking forward to it.

Sounds like the bbc has dropped its policy of diversity if they are all morons and no cute women (I’ve read the thread) …gave this up five or so years ago….maybe a cure for insomnia?

So they're supposed to produce high-end mini cheesecakes this week (after the culinary f*ck-ups last week). Shock horror, the cheesecakes looked like absolute shite, no better than if I'd had a bash at it after 5 minutes training.

What ASTONISHED me is that some punters in London were prepared to pay £6+ for one of those crumbling scabby little pieces of cack. One bloke even bought a bunch of them for his family, £32!! KINELL

Christ knows what London Dungeon were charging their punters for them after getting roasted to the tune of £11 each. Mindboggling.

Lord Sugar needs firing, two weeks in a row I disagree with him.

Asif is an almighty weasel and should have been fired, grrr
I don't disagree with your assessment of Asif but come on, that Paul was an absolute moron. That task was lost because of his inability to read the room over chocolate and his astonishing lack of negotiation skills. He was useless, although not as useless as Vridi was last week and he survived.

Surely Virdi and Asif will be out soon enough.

I think it's clear that there is a lot more sensible and rational candidates in the girls team than the boys.
I warmed to at least 4 or 5 in the girls team who actually made business sense. I can't say that about anyone in
the boys team.

No, they aren't allowed to Google anything, otherwise things like the shopping/haggling task would be incredibly easy, they'd just source all the stuff online rather than having to use a Yellow Pages.

Recent series the show has become a lot more about stitching the candidates up than actually seeking how good they are to be honest, they often have to come up with their exact concept before they have met the corporate client for instance, like having to plan an entire away day including food without even knowing who the client is or what they expect. It's a proper hiding to nothing
