If they were upper class they would have people to do that for them don't you know.
What, like Adam El-Abd you mean? Would he be the Lord of the Manor or the estate worker? I've seen the Fast Show, with the aristocrat and Ted the gardener.

Would essentially be an Alexis replacement and an admission the dahoud is dog shit/a mistake?

Bang average at best. Worth nowhere near £30m. January tax massively inflating the price. Move on to the next one please we’re fine for centre mids
I don’t think there is a ‘January Tax’ this window because FFP issues are dominating player purchasing.

According to Sky Sports, there have only been 13 (thirteen) permanent acquisitions in the EPL to date this window. The vast majority are ‘undisclosed’ for very little money and we’ve nabbed more than 20% of them.

Leicester apparently need to sell a player for financial reasons but very few EPL teams can afford to do business with them because they have all maxed out their FFP allowance.

We are in a ‘January Sale’ environment because only Brentford and a few other prudent clubs have any flex to spend. That is why we have signed 3 players and will probably sign 3 more.

I have to admit to thinking KDH was ‘bang average’ in the EPL but I’d not seen enough of him. RDZ has said that Baleba is not ready for the EPL and that Dahoud is not capable (having directed the club to his services in the first place). KDH seems the absolutely perfect stop-gap before the raw Baleba matures (he may need a loan or two first).

If KDH can perform anything like this for us, we’ll have an upgraded midfield for the rest of the season if we buy him:

I don't really follow Championship football - and I didn't have much interest in Leicester when they were in PL either, so I know next to f. all about this Dewsbury-Hall chappie. But as a good NSCer, I feel obliged to express an opinion on this thread.

He's shitehouse! OK?

More Caicedo I think. He’d play on the left of the midfield pivot allowing WBG or Groß to play the Alexis’ role but I agree with your point. RDZ desperately wanted him but is now not in the mood.

The fact he's English adds on a few million, £30mil seems a great price. Even if he fails to live up to expectations we would still get some money back from him.

We paid nearly £30mil for Jahanbakhsh and Webster and £20mill for Locadia.

I was listening to some Sports programme the other day when a couple of pundits were suggesting that he is the best player in the Championship and should not be playing there

I did not think, for a moment, that a few days later I’d see that we were in for him

Just pay the 30m and get it done, really rate this lad - would be an incredible January signing but surprised if Leicester would be willing to part with him now.
Like they have a choice

I guess the problem with this scenario is if Leicester *HAVE* to bring in a chunk of cash this window for their own FFP concerns...

Per reports, Gunners sporting director Edu is a huge admirer of the player and wants to convince him to instead wait for an Arsenal move.
With the emphasis put on the word ‘wait’, that’s because Arsenal are not in a position to buy the midfielder this month due to Financial Fair Play constraints.
As a result, the Gunners could tell Dewsbury-Hall to sit tight until the summer before making a move to Emirates Stadium, with a transfer at the season’s end also suiting the Foxes far better, who would also not stand in the player’s way if a move to north London presented itself.
The Gunners are likely to be able to offer Champions League football next season, which would be a serious temptation for the player, while Edu has decided he wants to add more goals from his midfield – to which Dewsbury-Hall could be the perfect option.

Jahanbaksh was 17, Webster 20 and Locadia 15.

I agree that 30 for KDH seems reasonable though.

Is that because all players love the championship instead of wanting to play for a top half PL side who are also playing in Europe?
Spot on

Arsenal are the new favourites for his signature then.

But imagine what it would mean if (if) he still came to us despite the prospect of CL football. He would be a landmark signing.

Transfermarkt has Jahanbaksh at £22.5, Webster £22.25 and £17.00 I guess all with add ons too.

(oh just seen its in Euros not GBP)

Brighton factually.....

Really, glad we have folks like you getting behind the team, Jebus give the guy a break.
he cost us diddly squat, has a market value of around 14 million, and we all know it takes players sometimes years to bed into a system, never mind the standard and intensity RDZ demands.
he’s not dog shit, or a mistake.
You probably said the same about Undav and Caicedo etc, etc when they first appeared in the stripes.

dog shit comment more like.

I just put the OP of the main KDH thread onto ignore from my test account, and the thread disappeared from view.

This exposes a bit of a problem when a thread that is likely to be highly-trafficked gets started by someone who is on lots of ignore lists.

I'm not sure how to deal with this one...
Ignore it
