I think there's a grey area here. It wasn't the club that withdrew the bendy buses from Mill Rd. They were taken out of service by the bus company.
The club, where it does arrange bus transport, can only do so from available stock, and the bendys have been removed as an option.

I’m not knocking the club but do find PB’s wording about this very precise. He does fail to mention that some aspects of fans travel to and from the stadium is under their control. Such as the stewarding to leave the car parks, the P&R service. He doesn’t address the fact that Mithras House P&R site hasn’t been replaced permanently. They do do a good job but feel they could do an even better job if they engaged with it more rather than claiming it isn’t the club’s responsibility.

You'd be happy that all fans going to watch a game that still just about attracts the working class would be charged extra to park where they've previously parked for free, in the middle of a cost of living crisis, so that you can laugh at two NSC posters who are legitimately using the nearest travel option to their house?No more sure than you. I have three options pre-game generally. Preferred, when all travel is working and the k/o time is decent, is to mosey into town, have a couple of beers in the boozers near the station and then get to the ground by train in time for a quick pint with the AR boys on the concourse. Option 2 is to leave early and have a beer with another group that are sometimes at The Swan.
When everything is tits up, public transport wise, however, I get the EDF park and ride. I do not drive there and park because my car is less than a two minute f***ing drive from where the buses leave anyway. And the ticket site explicitly allows us to do this.
I could always get Mrs GB to move the car out of its space and back in again once we've left the house I suppose
Son is 21 on August. This is worrying.
That's my offspring, incidentally, not the Spurs captain. He's 31 and does not, as far as I'm aware, have a season ticket in the Upper East stand.

Nah. I want it to be used by the folks that it was intended for ie those fans that drive in from a distance away. There's plenty of crazies that drive in from the likes of Swindon, North Wales, Merseyside and also those from neighbouring counties with shit transport links. This is who the P&R is intended for, not the wise guys that live just down the road

Like you, my preferred option is to mince into town, have a few beers either at the station or Old Steine and make my way to the ground via Train, bus or monorail depending on whereabouts I am.
Sometimes though, I park at a mates house, walk to the Mill Road park and ride and jump on the bus. There is one less car in the P&R car park and I get a few steps in. Surely I'm doing people a favour by making room for another car before the "It's full" sign comes up?

Fairly sure it is from 1st August as my son has a 7th August birthday and we were pleasantly surprised to get an extra season at the lower rates when he changed age groups.
