The biggest thing is that Climate Change is leading to more extreme and more frequent extreme weather events. This is one of those.
global warming will cause climate change ....there will be more freshwater in the system which will result in more rain and snow , cooling sea temperatures and changing salinity levels will also exacerbate extreme weather situations , i was in the middle of a thunderstorm in the Blue Mountains in Sydney last week that was to be frank , biblical ....the eastern seaboard of Aus as mentioned elsewhere has been pummelled with rain of biblical proportions.

FrontPage Magazine, also known as FrontPageMag.com, is an American political website edited by David Horowitz and published by the David Horowitz Freedom Center. It has been described by scholars and writers as right-wing, far-right, and Islamophobic.[1][2][3]

Nah, I'll pass on that.

Should we listen to you and ignore 99.5% of scientists who all essentially come to the same conclusion?

If we take action and its all in vein what's the worse outcome?

But if we do nothing what's the worse outcome for future generations?

Watch out you could be hit be 7 bin recycling soon....
99.5 of 'researchers' who signed up to do 'climate research' achieve what they are asked to do omitting the 99.8% of actual causes of climate change, all of which have been changing the temp on planet earth for millions of years. Look after our environment? Yes. Ban fuels, cars, and globalise farming? No. Ridiculous nuclear options for a spectral demon.

Why is it that all these scientists around the world are working in cahoots to inconvenience British car drivers?

What do the likes of NASA have to gain from this?

Good question. Well presented. Deserves an answer. Why not ask them why they are ignoring what I am pointing out? I would be glad to get an answer. Or does this hysterical 'we are boiling' narrative with blood red weather optics on national TV to frame and prime people with applied psychology some kind of 'science' I have not heard of? It's a grift. Carbon Certificates were being traded like dodgy fags in the 90's. Every climate prediction since the 60's has fallen flat on its face time after time, the accelerated propaganda is all that has changed.

I don't have NASA's number, I'm afraid. But I still feel like I trust them over @Bob'n'weave

Unless you have an up evidence to persuade me otherwise?

I'm curious where you get these ideas from ? Who should we listen to?

This is a pertinent quote from the NASA link I thought:

”It’s important to remember that scientists always focus on the evidence, not on opinions.”

In Environmental Law, risk mitigation/protection policy is based on the precautionary principle which is a lower threshold of likelihood than scientific proof. The precautionary principle requires the taking of precautionary measures that correlate with the level of possible risk in the absence of scientific evidence to argue the contrary. The greater the potential damage that could result by doing nothing, a greater precautionary approach is required. In climate change, where the threats of irreversible environmental damage are so devastating, the precautionary principle likewise allows for a lower level of scientific proof before action is regarded as being necessary to mitigate against the risks. That means costly zero emissions objectives and lifestyle sacrifices even when scientists say there is only an ‘extreme likelihood‘ of global warming being attributed to anthropogenic causes rather than absolute proof.

Most agnostics probably wouldn’t be questioning the existence of God when they are in a burning aircraft heading to the ground at terminal velocity- they would pray ‘just in case’ 🙂

"Evidence". I dunno, maybe 500,000 years of human existence which show no increase in temp due to people? Why not have a look at the methods now being used to measure 'temperature'. It's in the small print. You've been sold a pup.

Where do I find the real truth then? To the layman, it seems like there is a strong scientific consensus. Your 'dunno' isn't really swaying me.

Consider your perception. Starting 2024 years ago is myopic. Apart from the temporal fallacy, you need to open yourself to scientific counter-narratives to see if they have any validity or substance from a scientific viewpoint. Our planet is not 2024 years old, but many of our belief systems are.

Here's a few starters for 10. https://dailysceptic.org/2023/11/26/three-graphs-that-show-there-is-no-climate-crisis/, and the hilarious......https://www.theguardian.com/environment/2023/dec/03/back-into-caves-cop28-president-dismisses-phase-out-of-fossil-fuels

It's a house of cards, built on fallacies and omission ridden drivel. There are thousands of real scientists who know this is the case. Those who seek to control all production of food, power and societies have other ideas and control the narrative. The same people who fund this shit have been bombing the shit out of MENA for 4 decades creating a boom for slavery, division and war. Just my personal/humble opinion. Nothing personal Bakero.

Is your argument that there is nothing we can do about the Earth warming up or that it isn't necessary to try.

There certainly have been periods of climate change in the past, some of which have caused mass extinction of species.

Irrespective of the cause reducing the amount of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere must surely mitigate the effect of global warming no matter the cause.
