Bit disappointed he didn’t run back to Brighton tbh. His chasing down in the last min of injury time made me tired watching. I can’t believe we ever criticised him. I suspect most are guilty at some point. If he could run faster he would possibly be the best midfielder in the world. Luckily he can’t which means he plays for us not a massive club.

I commented on that at the time: "He just doesn't stop".

I seemed to spend quite a lot of the second half just watching him. He's always thinking and directing - his football brain is something else. Jack Hinshelwood will be learning a lot from him - Pascal was often gesturing to him where he should be to give a passing option.:

(Presumably not actually going home, hence being on the train).

Kicked off the team coach after a bust-up with the gaffa. I'd kinda be ok with it if he was pissed off in the photos, but look at him, he couldn't give a shit about De Zerbi, as he's clearly made a deal to leave us this window.

It's shocking to think how even more brilliant he would be with pace. Sadly, not playing for USB I suspect :)

First player ever to have to come to Brighton to get his German recognition (full Germany international caps).

What a guy.

What a club.

My contacts up there tell me subsequently got shit faced on Jägermeister and woke up naked in a hedge in Stafford with a Palace tattoo.

( Edit - My favourite player of the Premier League Era )

I sat next to his missus on train back from an away game when we were in the championship and said the same thing re a bit more pace.

At the time she said Pascals dad (who couldn’t speak any English) had flown over the morning of every home and away game since he joined us.

Guessing might have been going to London to meet friends?

Also to above poster that’s awesome and 100% believe you, just think times might be mixed up as didn’t he sign for us once we were already promoted to PL?

You’re right! It was Watford away 2018 so it was the PL.
