That moment you see the display in London and think how nice it would be to be present. Then you realise that thousands of people would be crushing to get home on an awful night, look at your bed, and think 'I'm so glad I'm not there'

Trust me, it's bollocks up there. I've been.
If New Year is to be spent getting hammered, it has to be in walking distance.
Central London has evolved over the years in this country to meet up with friends to get over feeling imprisoned with family members over Christmas when everything is closed.
Best avoided.
