Last Thursday night very late we received probably one of the worst phone calls any parent fears in that one of our sons had suffered a fall causing internal bleeding to the brain and was in the RSCH awaiting emergency surgery which took place early Friday morning before transfer to the CCU late Friday afternoon we were allowed to see him although asleep and he is making an understandable slow recovery but it's going the right way. Therefore on behalf of my family and friends of our son we wish to whole heartedly thank everyone at RSCH and to the medical team in The CCU please take a bow absolutely wonderful care,we cannot thank you enough.

Very proud to say my daughter in law is a nurse in the Neurology dept of the RSCH. Speedy recovery for young Leeky.

I sincerely wish you and your family well and pray for a speedy recovery. That is indeed what every parent fears, I hope you and your partner are getting good support and also any siblings he may have.

Pleased its a happy ending and wish a speedy recovery. Unfortunately I’ve had a bit too much experience of multiple hospitals ICUs, inc RSCH, so I’m well placed to say hospital staff everywhere not just RSCH are amazing. Shame our public purse doesn’t translate that into financial reward.

Don’t know how I’d cope if this happened to either of my boys. Don’t know how you can function? Keep up the bravery and strength and best wishes to your son for a quick recovery.

Update on one of our sons in the CCU medically cleared and discharged from RSCH but under supervision as in medicine and treatment programme, driving licence suspended UFN but it's a start and once again thank you RSCH all staff because the front room doesn't work without the back room, and to one and all for your support and best wishes, believe me it counts. Thank you.
