Agreed. Be even better if we could have a thread that lists all the prospects as there seems to be hardly a midfielder we are not after. Think it is Steele and 10 midfielders next season. That would be very interesting.

I like the idea of signing a player who comes here for his big move. Be nice having a player you weren't too worried about legging it within a year or two.

listened to a podcast episode earlier featuring Brentford's technical director. interesting point made that his department starts out assessing a huge number of players they then narrow it down to 2000 before starting the real process also interesting they also have the no dickheads rule. I know it doesn't necessarily compare like for like but their approach is similar to ours being data driven at the start
