Would anyone take Cucurella on a two year loan and Chelsea pay two thirds his wages? We wouldn't have to stump up £40m for Colwill and RDZ would more than likely get a tune out of CUCU. I know he chased the money and made a mistake but tell me someone that hasn't.

Not us. He's not a very good defender.

He wouldn't come back now that he's living his dream. You know, the one about playing at Stamford Bridge. Or was it playing for Guardiola? One of them, anyway.

Tottenham are closely following the situation of Marc Cucurella at Chelsea, sources have revealed to FootballTransfers.

Spurs are ready to bring in Cucurella, who moved to the Blues from Brighton last summer for £55 million (€65m) as a replacement for veteran Croatia international Ivan Perisic.

Chelsea are desperate to offload the player, who they made the most expensive left-back in history in 2022, although the situation is complicated for them. It is unclear exactly what type of fee they will seek for the once-capped Spain international.

I drove past Spurs’ stadium yesterday. I did not see Cucurella dreamily driving past.
