My kids are on a football holiday club for half term and they came back yesterday reciting the ‘one two, buckle my shoe’ rhyme with ‘seven, eight Andrew Tate’. They’re only 7 and 9 so obviously they haven’t got a clue who he is so I just told them he is a not a nice man and they aren’t to say his name again but apparently they heard it from the older kids at the club who were talking about him. The oldest kids there are only about 12 though, I guess they heard about him from older siblings but what else are they all picking up from that vermin?

We all get influenced by the media we consume, if you see a message repeated often enough, even if you disbelieve it strongly at first, if it gets accepted by others, you start to doubt your original beliefs.

Why the BBC gave him air time I just don't get it. You are never going to win in such an interview, you're just giving him the opportunity to continue spouting his vile hatred on a national podium. You can't throw anything at him about his views, as with all of his ilk they're able to twist it to make themselves look the victim.

Having watched it, it isn't what you describe as "hatchet job" at all. It's simply just a repeat of every other challenging interview he has given.
He earns his money from the dissemination of soundbites for those with a short attention span. He then defends them paradoxically by claiming the clips were taken out of context.
Throws in abuse at the interviewers employee, claim quotes attributed to him didn't happen, claims to be religious, defends running a streaming porn site and repeat.
He is more than odious, he is indefensible.
He hates women (it's very simple) and has found a way of monetising it.

Is this chap as wealthy as he claims? Reason I ask is that anyone can curate a favourable life-style via social media. I once had the pleasure of the company of a guy who's biggest claim to fame was a contestant on some German reality show. He got knocked out in the early stages. His Insta account showed his brief tv work, and showed it often, with numerous other photos of him in front of cars and fancy hotels in various places.............the reality was he was a taxi driver. Anyone can go to Ibiza and pose in front of someone elses car.....or outside any hotel you wish to chose. Is Tate the same?
