Understandable, however Teilemans, Gundogan, Benzema, Messi and a whole host of others are also free right now. Cost does not tell the whole story.
My point exactly. We as fans do not even know the details of why he is free. He might of turned down a renewal due to game time or just genuinely wants a new challenge.
Who knows, anyway I’m happy he’s ours and not anyone else’s.
