Yes. My dad died when I was ten, he gave me my love of football and I think of him at times like this, unsurprisingly. And quite a lot of the people who spent years of their lives in our battle to save BHAFC have died too, which is mentioned here. Of course, you know all this,because you’re a dedicated fan.

That's it... you and the occasion have got me close to blubbing now! I am thinking of all the friends and family, my father (who played for Brighton boys) and the anonymous hundreds and thousands of fans who have gone before and who would love to be at that match today!
