But with both Burnley and Sheffield United having been heavily linked with him over the last week or two, we feel a far more natural destination for a player of his profile.

I know money talks but would seem odd for McA & Caicedo to sign for a team with no Europe for at least another season. If the desire to leave is to operate at a higher level, and in better competions, they would lose a year of a relatively short career.

Yeah this guy doesn’t know anything, he’s just a fan begging for clicks. His previous tweets are all basically fan stuff rather than writing as any sort of journalist. But yet he’s been “been told” all this pretty private transfer details. Lots of previous tweets regarding Chelsea & Brighton links, seems he just an interest in our clubs dealings (Cucurella, Gilmour, Colwill).
Gallagher is a good player, but being ex-Chelsea and ex-Palace means it's a massive NO from me. Plus the alice band, of course...

None of our top players will be going to Chelsea.
Why would they, if they are leaving to play at the top level? Chelsea are a mid league club now and will be for a while.
Players will want to leave Chelsea, not join them.
Surely some of the other clubs - Madrid, Barcelona, Utd, Liverpool can offer the same (or better) wages as Chelsea?
