Doubt it, all the club staff will be at Wembley...I'd certainly hope they are.

Couldn't agree more, I'd like to think that everyone who works at the club day to day, from the boardroom to the cleaning staff would be given the oppertunity to attend. It's a big day for the players and the fans but everyone has played a part to some extent.

A lot of complaints about the ticket allocation process but anyone who has been involved with the club knows there has been a hierarchy of priority when it comes to tickets be it 'but your own seat' or 'loyalty points for away games'. The priority is based on commitment i.e. money put into the club , how else would you do it.
I've got them in my basket.
Happy to time and release-and-catch if anyone on here is looking and can buy.

One thing I noticed that being in the first queue early does not reflect the queue number you get when it switches to the second phase.
I'm not sure there has been a lot of complaints.
The main complaint I've seen is that non-members with purchase history were not given a direct opportunity to buy. And, frankly, I can see that argument has merit. Today, as a STH, I bought four guest tickets for people for whom this will be their first game of the season.
Should these people come above those who have spent money on games this season already?
We've covered this quite a lot.
Pre-window opening, say 9am, everyone is in a virtual "waiting room". It doesn't matter whether you enter that at 8:30 or 8:59 as when the queue is formed at 9:00am, everyone is given a random position, which feels absolutely right.

I must have missed that dialogue.
They could use technology a bit better and sub divide the priority windows as they have the detailed info on loyalty points but that might be solving a problem they don't think they have.
I am happy with the tickets I have.

I can only speak for myself but I don't think the people you've bought tickets for, should come above people that have been to matches this season.
I think there maybe a good percentage of MA+ members who only use their membership for 'big' games & I suspect some MA+ members are new, due to the players that they like. I've probably said this a million times here now... it's exceptionally frustrating for those of us that have been to the 'little' games over the years, the friendly's, the early cup rounds, the games that no-one else could be arsed to go to, to find that we have no chance of getting a ticket to the semi & it's getting increasingly difficult to go to 'any' home match unless you're a member. Have a look at the availability for the Everton game. It's a month away & it's nearly sold out, it seems absolutely mad to me that I went to the West Ham match last season, in WSL with no problems at all, at the last minute. That's not going to be able to happen anymore as to many people are interested in us & a lot of those seem to be able to afford the memberships etc. Our club & team being amazing has downsides for those of us that can't afford to keep up with the financial clout of the new people that think we're amazing. I'm loving that we're amazing but it makes me sad that some of us are no longer able to see our team being amazing after we've spent money watching when others thought we weren't worth spending money on.

1. STH guests having priority over those with decent recent purchase history. Yep, as I said above, I completely get this and I agree. I'm not sure why the club went down the line they did, but if the overarching aim is to reward loyalty (and some may argue the toss what that means) then recent purchase history being excluded does feel wrong.
2. Struggling to buy tickets without being a member. That's the point of membership isn't it? I've read a lot of posts over the last week or so from those who became members so that, when they could make their 2,3 or 4 games a season, they had the best chance of getting a ticket. Whilst I understand why some may dislike this "pay to play" model, if I wanted to play, I'd accept it and pay up.
Update: not sold out.

There is one thread with 2000+ posts and 157,000 viewings entitled “FA Cup Semi Final vs Man United“ which has been exclusively about ticketing and has been open for 18 days, but other than that, absolutely nothing. A thread which, remarkably, you actually started yourself!

What commitment have Pete and Sally, friends of a STH who don’t watch us but fancy the day out, given?
The club got it mostly right but allowing Pete and Sally in ahead of loads with significant purchase history/points but no membership was poor.
