I am a fanboy, but that said the interview does take Baz away from his schtick and aspects of it certainly took many friends and fans by surprise.

With all due respect to you. I know him first hand. If you remember from this thread, I once mentioned that my son was "Producer Jonathan" from the Football Weekly. Glendenning is really not a nice person. Drunk Irishman in a pub may be some peoples idea of fun.

That's the point of the interview being quite revelatory.
It's not really Baz' idea of fun either, but he has nothing else.

Enjoying some of the 'Cautionary Tales' podcasts.
They have a nice one on Thomas Midgley Jnr. which is well worth a listen and another one on investment bubbles that was fascinating.

I'm yet to listen to this first episode, so not really a recommendation (yet) but this might be fun and will definitely include the Albion.
It tells of football's Butterfly Effects, one of the trailers is 'how Neil Maupay won the World Cup for Messi', hence my confidence in our inclusion, at some point.

Oh hell, thats really awful. I've been listening to that show for years, including when Gareth Richards was on and he was such an integral part of getting me 'hooked' on it. A very funny man, no ego at all, he was perfect for the show with his silly and wry observations. I'm not usually one to be overly affected by people in the public eye passing on, but I listened to him for a long time, it'll be so tragic if he doesn't pull through. Very late to the party but discovered the Wolf and Owl podcast about 2 months ago so working through the back catalogue on my morning walk. Currently just past us losing the euros so quite a bit to go yet.
