:DNot very well worded by me! Bielsa in till the summer just with the U21s and then he could take over the first team in the Championship - apparently that's what he suggested doing at Everton.
Loads of Clubs now just starting to offer jobs till the end of the season. Which I suppose is sensible in Southampton's case. They must be one of the first Clubs who will be paying out their own " Compromise Agreement" before the finish paying up the Compromise Agreement to his previous club :) Although I would imagine Watford have probably done this many times in the past.

Just when the season can't get any more narrative heavy.

Yank Lampard keeping Southampton up at the expense of The Leeds United might just cap it all.

That would be amazing!
Unfortunately I'd be highly surprised if Stains finished anywhere above rock-bottom with Marsch there.
A lot of ifs, but I'd like to think they'd stick with him and give him a chance in the Championship next season, would be great to see Southampton do a Sunderland.

Justifies an extra bank holiday if that happened.

Champions of Europe vs saints Feb 25th so hope they get on with it and appoint him

Why not ? He kept Leeds up last year after the Bielsa circus. It’s still very tight at the foot of the PL. Win 2 or 3 games quickly and it all looks very different.
Why not indeed. I wasn’t implying it was a silly move. I was merely putting out there something no one else had said, having checked the thread.

Great article int he Guardian today regarding Nathan Jones, with a great quote “I want to test myself on every level, and that’s nothing against Welsh women,”
Yeah, I saw that and thought it was absolutely brilliant! I must work that into a conversation somehow.

Bringing back Hassenhuttl would have been a more sensible move. Very happy to see Ted Lasso appointed but I was rather hopeful that Stevie G would get the gig. Jesse trying to persuade the scummers to tear around like headless chickens for 90 minutes will be fun.
