The obvious choice would be Hassenhutl as a replacement, but with them both having come through the Red Bull system would that be too similar?

They have said they want a long term project manager, but to revolutionise the way they play when they’re in the relegation mix is a huge gamble.

I really don't think Marsch was all that bad.

Yes it was vaguely amusing to listen to his Ted Talk manner, but under their previous (and for some odd reason exulted) manager they were shipping goals all over the place. American Jesse at least got them organised and competitive. Leeds position in the league is about right given the side they're putting out.

The fans booed him from the off and his mistake was to go looking for their acceptance rather than be his own man (witness his embarrassing histrionics at the Amex).

Hopefully they re-appoint Bielsa and they can **** off out of this division for as long as they like

Over on Wackjob (WACCOE) they seem to think they can get Pochetino, as they're a big club.

I mean after a champions league final with top 4 Spurs, managing some of the world's best players at Frances biggest club, who wouldn't want a relegation scrap with neanderthal fans for a club that came second in Europe about 50 years ago.

Strange one, just a few days after the window has closed.
In their current situation, they really need someone with a working knowledge of the PL.

But being Leeds if they come knocking who could possibly turn down the biggest club in world football.

Surely it can't be good for your confidence to be sacked over and over again.

I can't think of any other profession like football manager.

Leeds fans need to understand they’re a) not a rich club b) an established PL club c) an especially well run club. 17th is a decent finish in this respect.

But if deluded, entitled and arrogant was a winning formula they’d be unstoppable.

It was always a strange Hyypia type appointment. He won the double with RB Salzburg, but they win the Austrian League every year. He joined RB Leipzig and got sacked in less than half a year, with the worst ppg of any manager they've had since the RB takeover. He arrived at Leeds when they were 16th. He sold Phillips and Raphina and then spent all the profits and more, half of it on Americans and players he had previously signed for RBs Salzburg & Leipzig. He left when they were 17th. Considering that Bielsa's side had only sunk so low because his system required Phillips and he wouldn't/couldn't find anyone who could play Phillips' role after he got injured, he leaves them considerably poorer in both financial and squad strength terms.
