Quite lucky to win that I felt. Bournemouth had so many decent chances and we really seemed to struggle getting through them. I thought Bour Exmouth played very well. Chances wasted by both teams but superb result when not near our best and missing several key players. That’s a game we would have lost last season and I truly think shows the winning mentality RDZ is instilling. Still not entirely sure how Undav didn’t manage to score…UTA.

We hardly ever beat Muff. They thoroughly irritate me. Get in Albion!!!!

Below par performance. Decent result though, against 'plucky' and without starting two of our best players.

Lots of positives.

Important 3 points to sustain our increasingly realistic dreams of Europe.

Sarmiento looking better all the time.... Great assist.

Inciso and Buonanotte being blooded and most likely our next big things :)

Undav looking useful.

Caicedo looking happy (and quality).

Mitoma scoring a great header!!!

Pleased with this. 3 points when we're not fully at the races is a sign of a quality team. (y)

Tough match against a team fighting for survival. Needed big balls to win that.

Thought Bournemouth played quite well really. They had a game plan, stuck to it, and did it well - and if they had a bit more shooting ability could easily have been ahead. Just undone in the last few minutes by a rare quality cross.

We played okay - but still need to find ways to get through these sorts of teams. But three most welcome points.

The commentator said something like 'not a classy performance by Brighton, but if they get the three points De Zerbi won't care'. He obviously hasn't watched any of his interviews. I predict he'll be caring quite a lot tonight and unhappy with the performance.

He did enjoy the goal though.

Commentary said that a TV crew from Japan were over for the match. They got their moneys worth! Mitoma sprinkling his stardust!

Had a peek on the Bournemouth forum. They consider it a decent performance for them this season.

This is why the Premier League is so interesting. As Everton proved today, anyone can beat anyone on their day.

Turns out, in our fixture, anyone didn't beat anyone, gladly for us.

Still going on according to this and it's 0-0🤣🤣

I had almost given up hope of a little sex wee, today, but the glorious Mitoma made it possible.....with his head! He never scores with his head - wonderful stuff. :)

This. B'muff surprised me in how well they played when they went forward and had a couple of good chances . But . . . but we should have been 2-0 up by half-time. Winning ugly sometimes is still a win. We can't play sublime football all the time, mores the pity.

Shirley dearest - beating a team at home who are desperate not to be relegated and beating them while they put up a low block in between some dangerous counter attacking and we played way off our best with a bunch of youngsters ….

We are definitely ‘as good as we think we are’ :bloom:
