I don't understand the suggestion that there will be more options for Arsenal in the summer. It's exactly the same number of options, surely? I mean, There's nothing stopping them trying right now to buy one of those players they might look at in the summer. They have chosen to try to sign Caicedo, despite being told he is not for sale in this window, so why are they ignoring it for him but not these supposed numerous other players they will turn to in the summer?

A mate has just been paid out by Coral on Caicedo staying… that has to be the clincher surely

Apologies if already mentioned but i thought this was interesting. When questioned about this situation Moises' Ecuador teammate Enner Valencia said he would have advised him not to post that twitter/instagram statement and keep things in-house instead.

I would think this is exactly the sort of person Moises would look up to & would take his advice on board. Comments like this might make him think a bit more about his actions.

If, and it's a big IF Moises mopes around sulking he'll be hammered and dropped without any hesitation. 99.9% sure he'll knuckle down and be welcomed back by everyone(despite having the piss taken out of him for a day or 2
That, plus if he's seen to be a disruptive influence, it could put off potential buyers. If he can pull those sorts of stunts with a #TeamLikeBrighton, he sure as hell will do with a 'big' club too!

I expect the chances of Moises going to Arsenal in the summer are high. Arsenal apparently not making a third bid as they want to retain a 'good relationship' with Brighton.
By then we'll have a full list of potential transfer replacement options plus the likes of Moder, Kozlowski, Alzate, Bouanotte to compete for midfield places.
Moises will have a full two years left on his contract, plus the extra year option, and so we will expect top dollar for him, and if it's not forthcoming, no problem.

I am pretty sure that if the club were expecting any disruptiveness or sulking they would have accepted 75m. I'm pretty confident we'll be okay.

Although the MC saga isn't a laughing matter maybe Dunky and Co can get 25 Arsenals shirts for the squad to wear and meet Moises in the Foyer at training tomorrow re McAllister World cup style! Have a laugh and tell the muppet to knuckle down. If we manage Europe or a FA cup final then we will donate the Arsenal shirts to his Siblings in Ecuador when he eventually signs for them in the Summer for 90m.

Exactly. There no benefit to reacting negatively to the situation. He seems like a pretty decent guy, who was just badly advised. I really hope there's not a negative reaction from any divs in the crowd on Saturday...

Playing up is counter productive. He's not that well established. He plays up, he gets dropped his stock falls and suddenly there are less options for him.

Continue to impress and the world is your oyster. Simple really.

Unless his agents are fuckwits.

These aren't the players you're looking for.

I think this is what De Zerbi was alluding to when he said we can do well with or without him.
