Hopefully Caicedo grows up a bit and plays, in which case

Gross / Caicedo / Gilmour

If not then I wouldn't be averse to trying out Enciso and asking Gilmour to play the 6 role (not his natural position obviously but better than others, although maybe could try Colwill?)

With Kayal and Stephens both out we'll have to go to Hillsborough with a centre midfield of old man Sidwell and the lightweight Norwood. They'll batter us.

If Caicedo's not ready, it'll be Gilmour and Gross in CM like it was against Arsenal.

The key point is this thread emphasises we are now really short of options if injuries or suspensions occur. For Bournemouth we could be without Caicedo; Alexis Lallana, Mwepu, Moder.

I know people are saying move Gross into the middle but RDZ would have preferred him at RB I’m assuming so now we need to start compromising. Maybe the Swedish kid will be an option in a couple of months but if Caicedo does go and we don’t bring anyone in we will struggle.

I don't think RDZ refers Gross at right back. I am sure he knows he is better in the midfield or further forward.
It has been more a case that he has wanted to play Pascal come what may, and if Mac, Moises and Adam are all fit and available then Gross has to go to right back. Given that at least two (and possibly all 3) won't be playing v Bournemouth, then Gross is 100% certain to play in midfield.

Andrew Moran seems to have bags of potential. Sure he’s not a ready made replacement but might feature in the squad earlier than anticipated.

Think that was one of my favourite ever away wins. Thanks for the reminder.
